Photo Uploading
IMPORTANT TO ACCEPT: Photo uploading must be completed within 24hrs-48hrs of the event finish time. The reason for this is that it vastly increases photo sales. Speed of upload is more important than culling and editing.
You will be invited (via email) to upload to the event gallery on GeoSnapShot.
Be sure to mark upload complete on GeoSnapShot once all photos have been uploaded.
Shooting Brief
- Image & file size: JPEG, 2 MB to 4 MB. Do not upload RAW files or files over 4MB. You can give time by shooting in a medium file size on your camera.
- Stay under 800 ISO where possible. Shoot auto white balance.
- You can shoot horizontally or vertical. 3000 pixels on the long side is the preferred resolution.
- Set the correct date and time (as participants will be able to search by time of participation).
- If you do edit your photos leave all EXIF information on the photos as we need this information. Again, speed of upload is more important than culling or editing.
- Shoot colour (not black and white).
Name your albums based on your location. There is no need to add a time to the album name as time of the photos is picked up from your photos.
- Check your photos during the day for quality and focus. It’s always very disappointing to go home and find everything is out of focus!
- You will be briefed prior to the event by the Event Manager.
